Tyler Bey is an actor and writer in New York City. Originally from Atlanta, he is a Black and queer actor, poet and producer-in-training working to break boundaries and expand imaginations. He is a recent graduate of the Fordham Theatre program and an alumni of the LINK program, the Shakespeare & Co. Intensive, the Hanger Theatre Acting Fellowship and a current member of the Artistic Collective at the National Queer Theatre.
At Fordham, he was awarded the Denzel Washington Scholarship for excellence in theatre. Beyond working with spaces like the New Group, The Drama League, NQT and more, he is a current assistant to Broadway intimacy director Ann James and is an assistant at Oscar nominated production company Archer Gray (20th Century Women, Mr. Holmes, Can You Ever Forgive Me). He’s also previously interned at AMC Networks (The Walking Dead, Dark Winds), Cinetic Media (Moonlight, Greenbook), Backstage Magazine and more.
